Time to Fight

Spetember 26th marks the date of our biggest event of the year. This year Crossfit Central is planning on raising $50,000 to help support the fight against Prostate Cancer. Everyone involved with Crossfit across the country will be doing this event on the same day to support the cause. You can sign up to compete at this event by going to our website and clicking on the Fight Gone Bad link. If you would like to donate to the cause without competing, click on the FGB link on my sidebar to make a donation and help me reach my goal of raising $300.

Crave Check

So, why all of you at Crossfit Central this weekend are working out hard and Zoning perfect, I have been busy eating cheesecake! As most of you know I had my wisdom teeth removed Thursday, super lame. The doc said no hard foods and definetly NO working out for at least 3 days. So instead of getting depressed from lack of fitness, I chose to indulge in cheesecake! It was a great idea until about 30 minutes after the crime was committed, I broke out in a sweat and got really dizzy. I hit a sugar high and felt worse than I did the day of my surgery!

Just a reminder to all of you out there trying very hard to stick to Paleo/Zone eating......it is sooooo worth it. The way you feel when eating whole foods that are good for your body compared to eating crap, there is no comparison. So when you are feeling tempted by your favorite junk foods, just remember what its like to feel good and resist temptation.

Standards

Alright, it is time. Time to blog, time to step it up, time to get on fire! I have been in cruise control for the past few weeks with my workouts, diet, and training. I used the end of the Games as an excuse to take it easy for a while.

Well now I know thats bullshit!

I am an athlete and a competitor, there is no off time, there is no time to relax and take it easy. There will always be someone out there working harder, getting stronger, and pushing faster than you. This is not the time to coast.

Get off your ass and GO!

Two week commitment: Zone/Paleo everyday, will not miss a workout, run 2X/week.

Call me out if you can!!!

Lisa and Jeremy.....LOVE!

Ok, so it's not always hard work and sweat all time time here at CRossfit Central. This weekend all of the ladies will be taking off to the Lake in Wimberly to celebrate Lisa's (camo shirt) final days as a "Bender". In a few short weeks Lisa will be getting married to Jeremy Theil, founder of Crossfit Central. They are both gifted and talented people and we are all so blessed to work with and be a part of their family. Thank you guys for being both truelly amazing and inspiring to us all!

Workout Time...Say What!

August programs are just beginning and everyone is on fire. Classes are either full or filling up so get into a class quick. Women's indoor classes I still have openings in are MWF 10am, TTH 5:45, and Bootcamp down South at Deep Eddy MWF at 6:30. All of these classes are great because they are earlier in the morning and beat the heat of the day. We all know how HOT the ATX can get mid-day! I also have one new opening for a personal training client. Not just anyone can do this though, if you are serious about training and acheiving results you will be required to sign a contract of commitment. To accomplish your goals you have to be fully committed to yourself and your dreams!
