As we all know or at least have heard, getting rest and letting our bodies recouperate is essesntial to peak fitness. Many of us ignore the signs our bodies give us when we feel fatigued. We keep pushing and pushing until either we get sick or injured. Those of us that follow the .com workouts follow a 3 day on 1 day off program. The one day off is a day of rest to help our body recover and help our muscles rebuild. Pay attention to your body, and provide it with sufficient rest and proper nutrition. DO A BODY GOOD!

Push It!
It's all smiles and hard work when Lizzie and I get together for our training sessions twice a week. Lizzie is the youngest client I train right now, with the best attitude. She comes in to see me after an early morning of practice followed by a long day of school, and still manages to stay positive and pushes hard through every challenge I throw at her. Way to go Lizzie, and keep up the hard work!
I currently have two spots to fill with one on one clients, so if you are interested or know someone that might need a little extra motivation send me an email.

Strength Lifts
EEEEWWEEEE, look at those ladies deadlift. You go girls! The deadlift is an essential movement in Crossfit workouts and life. Basically, all the deadlift is learning how to pick up heavy objects safely from the floor and the ability to set them back down without injury. A peice of advice, get a strong dead!

When a workout like todays comes up on the main site I shake my head. I mean shit, I can hardly lift my own body weight over the bar, much less with added weight......... Not! I can do anything. It might take me a bit longer than I would like, but I can freakin do it! Qualifiers are coming up, time to buck up!

Bahamas Baby
This past week I went to the Bahamas for my brothers wedding. My Dad and I got a quick shot on the beach in our Crossfit Tees. All of the family took part in a few Crossfit workouts on the beach. We even attracted a few other people vacationing on the beach that jumped into some of the workouts with us. While there, I meant two other guys that were planning on affiliating out of New Hampshire and Pittsburgh. It was really cool to go to such a far off place and see Crossfit making an impact.Good luck to all the new affiliates and congrats to my bro, Terrel, and his new wife Chandra!
