Mushroom Stuffed Pizza

Last night I was craving pizza for dinner, so I made my own. I scooped up some big portabellas for the crust and stuffed them with italian sausage, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and marinara. Then topped it with a sprinkle of cheese and avocado. YUUUUUMMMMMMMYYYYYY!!
It was not only delicious, but satisfied my pizza craving, and ommitted the crappy carbs! Don't make excuses for bad eating habits, find alternatives!

Time to Sport the Double C's

Standards

Alright, it is time. Time to blog, time to step it up, time to get on fire! I have been in cruise control for the past few weeks with my workouts, diet, and training. I used the end of the Games as an excuse to take it easy for a while.

Well now I know thats bullshit!

I am an athlete and a competitor, there is no off time, there is no time to relax and take it easy. There will always be someone out there working harder, getting stronger, and pushing faster than you. This is not the time to coast.

Get off your ass and GO!

Two week commitment: Zone/Paleo everyday, will not miss a workout, run 2X/week.

Ok, so it's not always hard work and sweat all time time here at CRossfit Central. This weekend all of the ladies will be taking off to the Lake in Wimberly to celebrate Lisa's (camo shirt) final days as a "Bender". In a few short weeks Lisa will be getting married to Jeremy Theil, founder of Crossfit Central. They are both gifted and talented people and we are all so blessed to work with and be a part of their family. Thank you guys for being both truelly amazing and inspiring to us all!

Little Bro

 
This past weekend Terrel, my bro from Lubbock came to Austin to attend a Crossfit Affiliate seminar hosted by Jeremy Theil. This seminar gave other affiliates a chance to come and learn how to run a successful Crossfit. This just shows that Crossfit Central is a staple in the Crossfit community. We have such amazing leaders followed by such an amazing team of coaches and staff!

Game Time

 
It's finally here...time to compete. In two hours we are taking off to Ft. Worth for the Regional Qualifiers. This will determine who will move forward to the 2009 Crossfit Games. We are taking somewhere around 14 amazing athletes crom Crossfit Central.A lot of hours and sweat have been put into the preparation for this event. Good luck to all my fellow competitors and teamates. Go with confidence and strength, have no fear, you are well prepared. God has blessed us all with amazing talents, have faith in that.
