Get It

While most people get off work, go home, heat up a lean cuisine, and plop down on the couch for their favorite TV show, these girls get off work and head straight to the gym for a quick butt kickin. The ladies of the 6:45 womens class vigurously row away to see who will be the first to finish the workout and call time. Crossfit Central is filling up quickly so make sure you are on the roster for next months classes starting June 1st. And those of you who are thinking of bumping your classes up from 2 to 3 times a week better make it happen, we will be going on a waiting list in the next month.

Those of you who may be interested in more of a personal settingfor your workouts or if you just want to step your training up a notch for the Summer, I have two group training spots opening at the new SicFit gym.

Get Low

Quote of the day:

It ain't ya beauty......it's ya booty!

I had many thoughts run through my mind today as I trained, and although it sounds kinda funny, this is the thought that stuck with me. I have noticed many people in our gym with full capability of getting low in their squat that seem to be skipping out on getting to full depth in their workouts. Many of these people I have seen with my own two eyes get to full squat depth time after time, but are now not making it a priority. If you aren't going to go full range on your squats, crease of the hip below crease of the knee, or at least make that your goal, then you might as well not be doing them at all. Why come every day, change your diet and lifestyle, make such a commit, all to come into the gym and cut yourself short?

I challenge you all to make a new commitment for the month of February to step out of your comfort zone and push yourself that much harder every time you walk into the gym!

Workout Time...Say What!

August programs are just beginning and everyone is on fire. Classes are either full or filling up so get into a class quick. Women's indoor classes I still have openings in are MWF 10am, TTH 5:45, and Bootcamp down South at Deep Eddy MWF at 6:30. All of these classes are great because they are earlier in the morning and beat the heat of the day. We all know how HOT the ATX can get mid-day! I also have one new opening for a personal training client. Not just anyone can do this though, if you are serious about training and acheiving results you will be required to sign a contract of commitment. To accomplish your goals you have to be fully committed to yourself and your dreams!

Hoppy Easter Everybody

This weekend I got the pleasure of going out to my buddies lake house and relaxing for 3 whole days. I loved it, and my body is thankful for it. We painted eggs, had an Easter egg hunt, and went to church with the fam.

I think many of us forget what Easter is truelly all about. We get so self obsorbed and forget to give thanks to the One who has blessed us with all that we have. This weekend brought me back down a notch to what life really is all about.

I feel so very blessed to have a Savior that died and rose again to forgive every single one of the transgressions I make day in and day out. Thank you Lord for all that you have given me, and my wonderful, inspiring Crossfit family!

Silly Girls!

The Crossfit Indoor ladies got done with their gruelling workout coached by Mrs. Carey Kepler and had just enough energy left to throw up their guns and pose for the frame! Crossfit Womens classes are growing quickly, so make sure you get your spot. In May we will be opening up a 5:45 AM Womens class on Tuesday and Thursdays, and many more classes to come!

Pullup Mania

Whitney, Megan, and Julie have all three been working diligently over the past few weeks to conquer the pullup. They have all had great success. Everyday I walk into the gym I see new people getting their pullups down and it Pumps
Me Up! I know alot of our clients are working hard to tryout for the affiliate team, and those that aren't are just working hard to accomplish their goals. Whatever the reason may be, you guys are super inspiring and motivate me as a coach to be at the top of my game!

Another Success Story

You too can look this good with just a few weeks of hard work and dedicated training with ME!
Sara Smithhart, one of my one on one clients, and myself are enjoying a fun night of Halloween partying and getting ripped all in one. Normally when Sara isn't "letting it all hang out", she is in the gym working hard and pushing herself through every challenge I throw at her. She is dedicated to staying fit and reaching her goals. You can't really tell in this picture, but Sara has lost 17 inches already and isn't stopping there! Feel free to contact me if you are looking for advice on fitness or are in need of a little motivation and accountability. P.S. It might cost ya a penny or two more to get a training session with me in this fabulous gear!!!
