Pounds Droppin' Like Flies

Last week my clients and myself completed our 20 Day Challenge. The only guidelines for this Challenge were to set whatever goals they wanted and achieve all of them within the 20 days. I took body comps, measurements, and wrote everyone's goals down. At the end of the 20 days we had 3 top winners. To win you had to hit all of the goals you wrote down. Everyone in the Challenge had great results and success even if they weren't a top "winner".
The top three ladies were Laura S, Noelle, and Connie D. Connie hit her goal of loosing 7 lbs, 3inches, and 3% BF, as well as getting 10 pullups in a row.
Noelle pulled her longest Row ever, lost 2% BF and 4 inches. Laura S. lost a total of 2.5% BF. I also hit my own personal goals of dropping 5% body fat and losing 5 pounds.
I threw this challenge out to my clients because i had initially started it for myself. I knew I needed to lose some BF and thought the best way to be held accountable would be letting everyone else in on it, and it worked. It is amazing what great accomplishments we can make if we set a goal and have complete focus. I know during this competition many people made huge diet changes and did things they didn't think were possible in 20 days. Way to go Team!!!!
If you are ready for a change in your diet, energy, and overall health and need help getting there, feel free to contact me to schedule a nutrition session.

Reach for the Stars

Piper came to me in the middle of May looking to get back in shape and better her quality of life. She dove in head first and immediatly started doing one on one training with me 3 times a week as well as food logging, changing her diet, and going through a cleanse. She went very strict Paleo with her food and saw tremendous results. Piper set goals at the beginnning of her training and hit all of them. Her main goal was to drop 3% body fat. she not only dropped 3% BF but also lost 6 inches in two and a half months. She is currently in my 9:15 Women's Program hitting it hard in the gym while also continuing to eat well and supplement with Advocare products.
Great job Piper, keep up the good work!

Just In Time For Summer

Pamela is a new addition to my 6:45pm Women's class and has already had amazing success. Here is a pic of Pamela at her birthday party before she started doing Crossfit and eating Paleo. In 45 days she has lost 10 pounds and 16 total inches, truelly inspiring! Before Pamela joined us here at Crossfit she was a vegetarian since a very small age. Pamela has been following the Paleo diet and added protein back in her regime which she claims has helped her with this weight loss. She is now one of my Spartan clients, and I expect her to stay on this path and continue to get amazing results!

Way to go Pamela!!!!!!! Proud of you girl!

Holiday Throwdown

Now that everyone is stuffed and over the Thanksgiving food fest, the Challenge begins. This is for any and all of the ladies in my indoor Crossfit classes. Today we will begin our 15 day Holiday Challenge which includes daily food log with checks, strict Paleo eating, benchmark workouts, and good old fashion fun! Setting goals and having people around you to hold you accountable is the best way to see results. I will not allow the acceptance for laziness and overeating to creep up on me during the holidays, I will take control over my choices and my decisions.

Called Out

As we all know, the Holidays are coming whether you like it or not. This is the perfect time to get in the gym, set some goals, and get as lean as you can before Thanksgiving is here. If you would like to go into Turkey season and Christmas time focused and fit, give me a shout. I will be offering Holiday training specials for private sessions of one to two people. During the next two months we will get super focused on your nutrition and goals, and of course get to experience many gruelling workouts. Also, if you are already involved in an indoor class or bootcamp, but feel like you need extra accountability or nutritional advice, hit me up. I am here to help. Don't let the Holidays be another nasty excuse for lazziness and weight gain.
