Just In Time For Summer

Pamela is a new addition to my 6:45pm Women's class and has already had amazing success. Here is a pic of Pamela at her birthday party before she started doing Crossfit and eating Paleo. In 45 days she has lost 10 pounds and 16 total inches, truelly inspiring! Before Pamela joined us here at Crossfit she was a vegetarian since a very small age. Pamela has been following the Paleo diet and added protein back in her regime which she claims has helped her with this weight loss. She is now one of my Spartan clients, and I expect her to stay on this path and continue to get amazing results!

Way to go Pamela!!!!!!! Proud of you girl!

Yum Yum

Throughout our day most of our thoughts lead us back to the thought of food, mmmmmmmmhhhhh! So why not make the foods we put in our bodies day in and day out quality choices. Everyday I hear excuse after excuse of why it's so hard to eat good food, but if I can do it, so can you!
I have a picture of my dinner last night and it was super simple and delicious! I cooked tilapia in olive oil, sauteed mini portobellas in olive oil, and steamed butternut squash with coconut butter and cinnamon. When your preparing a meal don't overwhelm yourself, keep it simple and quick.
For all our I Am Crossfit clients, tomorrow evening we will be showing the movie Food Inc to give you guys an inside look at where our food really comes from.

Bye Bye Belly, Hello Six Pack

If you were wondering if this is the same person, the answer is YES. This is a before and after pic of one of my indoor clients after following 1.5 month strict Paleo. I am not allowed to disclose any personal info about her other than the fact that she is amazing and seen a huge transformation. If you don't beleive that following Zone/Paleo works, challenge yourself to a 30 day trial and see what happens. If you have any questions about it please don't hestate to contact myself or any of the other Crossfit Central coach, we are here to help!

What can you accomplish in a month and a half?

Then and Now

What can I say other than WOW!From left to right you have, myself, Julie Ward, Nicole Hughes, and Carey Kepler. All of whom work for Crossfit Central and all of whom look a lot different from then to now. Obviously this pic is not the most flattering to any of us, my apologies ladies, but it is a great example of how Crossfit has changed all of our lives. I know for a fact all of these girls follow Crossfit WOD's religiously and Zone/Paleo their food as well as take Advocare products. This pic was taken a year and a half ago, and look at the results of their dedication and belief in the programming they follow. Then, NOT SO HOT. Now, SUPA DUPA HOT!

Crave Check

So, why all of you at Crossfit Central this weekend are working out hard and Zoning perfect, I have been busy eating cheesecake! As most of you know I had my wisdom teeth removed Thursday, super lame. The doc said no hard foods and definetly NO working out for at least 3 days. So instead of getting depressed from lack of fitness, I chose to indulge in cheesecake! It was a great idea until about 30 minutes after the crime was committed, I broke out in a sweat and got really dizzy. I hit a sugar high and felt worse than I did the day of my surgery!

Just a reminder to all of you out there trying very hard to stick to Paleo/Zone eating......it is sooooo worth it. The way you feel when eating whole foods that are good for your body compared to eating crap, there is no comparison. So when you are feeling tempted by your favorite junk foods, just remember what its like to feel good and resist temptation.

Standards

Alright, it is time. Time to blog, time to step it up, time to get on fire! I have been in cruise control for the past few weeks with my workouts, diet, and training. I used the end of the Games as an excuse to take it easy for a while.

Well now I know thats bullshit!

I am an athlete and a competitor, there is no off time, there is no time to relax and take it easy. There will always be someone out there working harder, getting stronger, and pushing faster than you. This is not the time to coast.

Get off your ass and GO!

Two week commitment: Zone/Paleo everyday, will not miss a workout, run 2X/week.

Call me out if you can!!!

Kitchen Sweep

We are now offering a new program that will allow a coach to come into your home and find out what's in your fridge and behind those pantry doors. If you are trying to get dialed in with your diet and you are at the point where you just aren't sure about how to shop for yourself and what to keep in the pantry, we are here to help. This program will offer nutritional counceling as well as a grocery store trip shopping buddy, and some much needed help cleaning out the junk from your fridge. To get more details on Kitchen Sweep email me at crystaljmcreynolds@gmail.com or go to crossfitcentral.com, click on the Programs tab, and it will be under the Crossfit link.

What will we find in your closet!?!?

Pizza Pizza

Haha...caught red handed! This is an incriminating picture of two current Crossfit coaches, identity still unknown, taking down quite a handful of pizza. Since we cannot see their eyes, I am not sure if these two criminals will ever be caught, but just so they know, this should never take place again.

Although we as coaches do practice what we preach, being Zone/Paleo diet, we all need a break sometimes. This weekend we went to Chicago for a Dani Johnson seminar and took a little time out for some good eats!

The Incredible Shrinking Woman!

This is a before and after pic of Mel Joulwan of Crossfit Central, also known on the streets as "Meliscious". Mel is one of my hardcore bootcampers and has just recently moved into an indoor class as well. She is a great example of what happens when you put nutrition, exercise, and supplementation all into one package....a new person! By zoning and Crossfitting Mel has lost a total of 38 inches, 44 pounds, and 4 jean sizes!!! She recently came in 3rd in the Spartan 300 challenge. Mel is not only a role model for many people trying to change their fitness levels and lifestyles, but also sets the standard for what we here at Crossfit are trying to acheive. Just want to give a shout out to Mel and tell you that all of the sweat and tears you have gone through have no question paid off! You are a true Rockstar, YOU GO GIRL!!
